8 facts about eeby deeby THRESHER!

1.) He was designed after my cat Bloom! (: Very toothy fello

2.) He considered sending Trout and Hake to the sea when they were born because he feels guilty about his part in overpopulating the island, he couldnt bring himself to do it though, so he sent Egret to the sea instead.

3.) Thresher feels extreme guilt for the famine. Had he known food would have been an issue, he would not have fathered so many children in his youth.

4.) Minke was the only cat he genuinely loved, she was given the title of Queen because she was his favorite.

5.) Thresher and Auklet are twins, they were both heirs to become King. Thresher was chosen.

6.) I have a prequel idea about Thresher youth floating in my wips. It includes his and Auklets upbringing with their father, and his relationships with other cats.

7.) I don't think he ever believes Sturgeon to be anti-daisy after the incident with Ladybug. However, her ability to convincingly fake her loyalty to the tide does impress him, and makes her his favorite heir. He values her skill in lying and manipulation, even if he doesn't share her beliefs. He believes she would become the best monarch, even if she would try to change everything.

8.) He is extremely selfish and hypocritical. Although he is aware of all of his garbage traits, he has no interest in changing. He chooses to wallow is self pity.

one quick thing i need to put out there uh as funny as it is to be like "omg the Glee namedrop bc he produced both shows" or whatever i DO need to inform you that pre-Glee/post-Glee era IS an actual academic discussion point. that is a genuine unit of cultural measurement and had been long before this. that piece of dialogue was not pulled out of nowhere it was pulled directly out of existing queer discourse.

8 facts about TUSK!

1.) Tusk was partially designed after my childhood cat, Zoe!

2.) The father of her children was a one time fling, they were not a couple and she didn’t bother trying to find him once she realized she was pregnant. He is not relevant to her life or story.

3.) In the first draft of the story, she was only mentioned twice. Her role and character has been greatly expanded!

4.) She is a decent hunter, but is best at hunting mice and rabbits. As the prey grew fewer, she had to rely on stealing crabs to avoid starving.

5.) Her original design was closer to what Tansy looks like (but with tabby markings).

6.) She had no intention of keeping Hake in her life when she met him, but she grew to care for him deeply and doesn’t regret meeting him.

7.) Tusk is very honest and blunt to others, she is not one to lie thoughtlessly. She prefers when others return the same courtesy.

8.) Tusk used to eat bugs regularly but has stopped doing so since seeing hakes fascination with them. She thinks it might hurt his feelings if she were to eat his little beetle friends.

wanna preface this by saying that i am. So normal. anyway i just spent the last week redrawing scenes from mystery skulls animated but as that hermitcraft au i posted about a couple times. you guys should watch msa it is. so so good.

I think he's gonna dress like most middle aged men do which is. whatever's comfortable and easy to move in. I actually think he actively tries to avoid dressing too young? (Though, idk if I really conveyed it with the outfits I cobbled together.)

He's a working class man he does NOT have fancy coats or suits (unless Marcille gets to dress him up and Marcille does NOT get to dress him up). Chilchuck has maybe two pairs of jeans he cycles through total.
